Use case

Matter tracking for a small firm, without the big-firm ERP

Consultants, experts, professional practices: your raw material is the matter — and its tracking too often lives between an inbox and three spreadsheets. Blueprint Maker generates the tracking application that fits YOUR firm's practice.

Generate this application

The description is already written — free sign-up, then it's waiting for you in the composer.

Every firm tracks matters its own way

A consulting firm tracks engagements with milestones and deliverables; an expert tracks files with site visits and reports; an administration firm tracks recurring clients with yearly deadlines. Practice-management software picks one reference profession and imposes its vocabulary on the others.

The symptom is always the same: the official tool is used for invoicing, and the real tracking — where each matter stands, who's waiting for what, what time was spent — happens elsewhere, in personal files nobody else can read.

Your practice, turned into an application

Describe your firm: “We are three consultants. We run engagements for clients, with a fee amount, milestones, time spent per consultant and a status: proposal, in progress, waiting on client, done, invoiced. I want workload per consultant and engagements ready to invoice.”

The generated application mirrors that practice: clients and their engagements, time entries linked to consultants, the statuses you use, and a dashboard answering your questions — workload, in-progress work, to invoice.

Demo data simulates a realistic engagement portfolio, so you evaluate the tool on full screens from the first minute.

  • Client records and engagement history
  • Matters / engagements with statuses and milestones
  • Time entries per person and engagement
  • Fee tracking: proposed, committed, invoiced
  • Dashboard: workload, in-progress, billing

Confidentiality through ownership

A firm's matters are confidential by nature. The best guarantee is not a contract clause: it's owning the tool. The generated application belongs to you — source-code ZIP export, GitHub push, hosting wherever you decide, including on your own infrastructure.

The code is standard Next.js + Prisma, auditable by any trusted provider. No black box between you and your matters.

Start small, with no structural commitment

The Discovery plan (€0) lets you generate a first application — often enough to test the structure on your own practice. Pro (€25/month) and Max (€149/month) provide credits to iterate towards the definitive tool, with the cost shown before each generation.

Three generation levels (Sketch, Craft, Masterpiece) separate the structural trial from the polished production tool.

Frequently asked questions — practice management

Our tracking methodology is specific. Can the application reflect it?

That's the principle: your stages, milestones and matter categories become the application's structure. You validate the plan — entities, statuses, indicators — before generation.

Where is the firm's data hosted?

Your choice: at the provided dedicated URL, or with you — the code exports (ZIP, GitHub) and can be hosted freely, including on your own server with your own database.

Can we track time without a bureaucratic monster?

Yes: if your description mentions time tracking, the application generates a simple entry linked to engagements and people, and the dashboard aggregates it per engagement, consultant or period.

Does the application do invoicing?

The application tracks what you describe — including amounts and billing statuses (to invoice, invoiced, paid). Producing compliant invoices remains your invoicing tool's job; the application tells you what to invoice and when.

How long before the team can use it?

One generation produces a complete, deployed application. The realistic cycle: describe your practice, validate the plan, generate at Sketch level, have the team use it for a few days, then regenerate at Craft with the adjustments.
